02.02 & 02.03 - "Workout" Weekend

It was a very busy weekend-- and I spent a lot of time with my cousin's three kids. I had originally planned on starting my "training" this weekend, but I had absolutely no time to go to the gym. :\ Luckily, hanging out with those three is a workout in itself. Most of Saturday was spent bouncing around while watching the High School Musical Ice Tour (ha-- I had a surprisingly good time), and then Sunday night was spent running around in the falling snow and building snow forts. I felt like a kid again! ;) Anyway, that's the most working out I've done in the past six months. Seriously. I know I will be sore tomorrow. But my suffering will not be in vain. Check out our cool snow fort below (and the youngest peeking through the tunnel he was too afraid to crawl through-- aww). :)





SATURDAY, February 2nd
Breakfast

+ scrambled eggs
+ two sausage patties
+ cup of coffee with creamer
Mid-morning Snack
+ few handfuls of popcorn
+ small piece of cotton candy
+ few sips of Sprite
Late Lunch
+ salsa chicken stew (mmm)
+ few spoonfuls of mushy white rice (mmm)
+ leftover sunnyside and English muffin sandwich
Mid-afternoon Snack
+ small cinnamon roll
+ little piece of oatmeal raisin cookie
+ cup of coffee with creamer
Dinner

+ a handful of tortilla chips and salsa
+ queso fundido with two flour tortillas (oh man...)

+ skirt steak sitting in a delicious sauce with cactus salad on top (sooo good)
+ 1/2 a slice of pastel de tres leches (yum, but I've had better)

+ 1/2 a homemade oatmeal cranberry cookie
+ 1/4 bottle of Vitamin Water "XXX"
Linner
+ tortilla chips with kindey bean and corn guacamole
+ 1/2 slice of deep dish spinach pizza
+ two slices of thin-crust pepperoni and green pepper pizza
+ a fried chicken drum
+ one piece of plantain

+ a scoop of pad thai
+ tortilla chips with 7-layer dip
+ cup of coffee with creamer
+ a homemade chocolate chip cookie
+ another oatmeal cranberry cookie
