02.14 - A Learning Experience

This past week has really taught me how unaccommodating restaurants are to pescatarians and/or vegetarians. There’s (at most) one or two veggie entrees on the menu that are wholly unappealing. And you’re lucky to find something that involves a fish or crustacean of any kind. Blah. I’m just going to walk around with a can of clams in my purse, and I’ll just throw some in whenever I feel the need for anything substantial. Ha.

THURSDAY, February 14th
Breakfast

+ mushroom and green pepper omelet with cheese sprinkled on top
+ 1/4 bottle of Vitamin water “Formula 50”
Mid-morning Snack
+ red velvet muffin with cream cheese frosting (yum!)
+ small piece of a walnut brownie (also yum!)
Lunch
+ 6-inch seafood sub (yum, a childhood favorite)
+ bag of baked BBQ chips
+ heart-shaped chocolate cookie
Late Dinner
+ house salad with creamy Italian dressing
+ ham and cheese melt (*sigh* without the ham) dipped in Tabasco
+ a few forkfuls of crunchy hash browns
